We invite you to participate in the VIII Ruda Śląska Industrial Half Marathon, which will take place on August 10, 2024, in Ruda Śląska. The course consists of two loops and runs near landmarks such as the station in Chebzie, the Kaufhaus housing estate, and the Blast Furnace. In addition to the main event – the half marathon covering a distance of 21.097 km, there will also be a companion race over a distance of 10 km and a Nordic Walking march. The start and finish of the race will be located at the athletics stadium on Czarnoleśna Street.

Highlights

  • The half marathon route is certified by the Polish Athletics Association (PZLA) and has two timing checkpoints.
  • There will be two refreshment stations along the route with mineral water and isotonic drinks.
  • Athletes are subject to a time limit of 2:45 hours to complete the course.
